Daily Dark Chocolate Helps Hearts Stay Healthy

A Japanese study suggests that dark chocolate improves blood flow to heart muscle, lowers blood pressure and reduces the risk of diabetes.

The study involved 39 healthy men who ate a 1.4-ounce candy bar of either dark chocolate or white chocolate daily for two weeks. After two weeks, coronary circulation significantly improved in the dark chocolate group while the white chocolate group had no changes. (Read the full article on WebMD.)
