Cipro (Antibiotic) Interacts with Thyroid Medication

This is one more interaction worth knowing about. If taking Cipro or related antibiotics for short periods, take the thyroid dose 6 hours away from the Cipro. If taking it for more than 2 weeks, have your doctor check thyroid levels on the Cipro to be sure you are not going hypothyroid.
