Vitamin D for Optimal Health

Study after study shows that making sure your blood levels of vitamin D are optimized is a superb way to promote healthy function of different systems within your body. In this article I point out a number of these studies.

By the way, I don't recommend blood testing for vitamin D levels, because I don't consider the test reliable. What's protective? I recommend 2,000 IU of vitamin D a day. And take regular walks to get D-producing sunshine. The key to sun exposure: avoid sunburn, not sunshine.
