Natural Pain Relief When Recovering From Fibromyalgia

Pain Relief for FMS: Part 2 of 3

Hello Reader,

As I discussed in the previous article (Understanding the 7 Types of Fibromyalgia Pain), pain is your body's way of saying that something needs attention. By giving your body what it needs, your pain usually decreases and often goes away.

I prefer to use a mix of natural and prescription therapies while going after the root causes of the pain, as this is most effective with the least side effects. While they may each be helpful, no single treatment is likely to give completely effective pain relief on its own, and they are best combined in an integrated program.

My free Energy Analysis Program can help analyze your symptoms and guide you and your physician on how to optimize your energy by utilizing the S.H.I.N.E.® protocol specifically tailored for your condition. This often addresses the root causes of the pain. While doing this, the treatments to be discussed in this article can be very helpful. They can all be combined together, along with pain medication. After the pain has decreased or resolved for three months, the doses of most natural and prescription pain treatments can be lowered or used intermittently as needed. Think of it like a fire. Once the fire is put out, you can put away the fire hose.

I recommend beginning most people with Curamin and topical comfrey cream.

Curamin — a Pain Relief Miracle

For day-to-day pain, this herbal mix has been nothing short of remarkable. I've seen it eliminate pain in people where morphine wasn't helping. Although sometimes it begins to work very quickly, you should give it six weeks to see the full effect. I recommend one to two tablets three times a day depending on the severity of the pain.

Treating CRPS

QUESTION: My wife has suffered from CRPS for the past 5 months. I read your article (and others) about a promising treatment using neridronate. Can a U.S. citizen go to Italy for the treatment, and if so, do you know of a contact doctor there? Thank you so much for you help. — M

ANSWER: I think using the IV biphosphonates for CRPS is very good idea, but I don't have a contact for a physician there. I recommend that you, and anybody else with RPS/Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, watch the following videos by Pradeep Chopra (and consider making an appointment with him). They are excellent!

A Lesson on Stress

A young lady confidently walked around the room while leading and explaining stress management to an audience while carrying a raised glass of water. Everyone knew the question that was coming, "Half empty or half full?" But she fooled them all.

"How heavy is this glass of water?" she asked with a smile.

Answers called out by the audience ranged from 8 to 20 ounces.

She replied, "The weight doesn't matter. What matters is how long I hold it. If I hold it for a minute, that's not a problem. If I hold it for an hour, my arm will ache. If I hold it for a day, you might have to call an ambulance for me. In each case it's the same weight, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it feels. And that's the way it is with stress. If we carry our burdens all the time, sooner or later, the weight of it will seem to grow heavier and heavier, until we can't carry on."

"As with the glass of water, you have to put it down for a while and rest before holding it again. When we're refreshed, we can carry on with the burden — holding stress longer and better with each time practiced."

"So, as early in the evening as you can, put all your burdens down. Don't carry them through the evening and into the night. Let them go for awhile and pick them up tomorrow."
