Dr. T Discusses COVID-19 Long Haulers

Hello Reader,

In this Zoom call interview with Lorrie Rivers of Living From Inspiration, Dr. T discusses COVID-19 "Long Haulers," the term given to people who seemingly recover from COVID-19 yet experience symptoms of continuing fatigue and brain fog — the very same symptoms caused by CFS and fibromyalgia.

Using Sleep to Strengthen Your Defense System (Podcast)

Restful Sleep

Just a little more sleep can make an enormous difference in your body's ability to protect you from the virus that causes COVID-19. Our bodies work very hard while we rest, especially to strengthen our immune systems. Are you having trouble sleeping? Staying asleep? It may be more than just these stressful times. In this edition of the Bottom Line Advocator Podcast with Sarah Hiner, Dr. T joins Bottom Line President Sarah Hiner to provide guidance on how to fall asleep and stay asleep.

COVID-19: An Ounce of Prevention…

A recently released massive World Health Organization (WHO) study (download PDF) showed that in people hospitalized with a virus, the main medications used were not effective. These included Remdesivir, interferon, and Lopinavir. As usual, in studies where massive high toxic doses of Plaquenil were used and started late in the illness, the medication was also not effective, as opposed to studies where the proper lower doses we use and started early, where the medication is routinely highly effective.

On the other hand, numerous studies are now showing that optimizing zinc (50 mg a day for one month and then 15 mg a day for maintenance, resuming 50 mg a day at first sign of symptoms), vitamin D (1,000 units a day, although some may choose higher levels), vitamin K, vitamin B1, and other nutrients are associated with dramatically improved outcomes when begun before the illness. Much of this is also recommended in the IDSA (Infectious Disease Society of America) Guidelines written for hospital and intensive care doctors (download PDF).
