Woman Refusing Pills

Hello Reader,

A new study shows another "no pill" technique that can improve fibromyalgia pain and, based on our experience, likely brain fog as well.

So many people with fibromyalgia have trouble tolerating pain medication or finding pain relief. We find that the supplements Curamin® (one capsule three times a day), sometimes supplemented with TraumaPlant® Comfrey topical cream (three times a day) over the affected areas can help reduce pain. These can be used individually or together with any pain medications (for those who can tolerate pain meds).

But what do you do when you can't get pain relief from medications, or you simply don't tolerate taking them? Here are the next three steps that I usually take after the above two supplements:

Protecting Your Brain With Multivitamins and a Healthy Diet

Brain with Veggies

A new study showed that people who ate a diet rich in magnesium showed less brain shrinkage than those who didn't. So it isn't surprising that a high magnesium diet is associated with a lower risk of developing dementia.

Add these to the list of studies that show a diet with folic acid, vitamin D, and B vitamins is also likely associated with dramatically better long-term brain health. (BTW, an excellent and easy way to get all those nutrients is by taking two tablets a day of the multivitamin Clinical Essentials™.)

Food Processing Is Robbing Us of Magnesium

A healthy unprocessed diet normally provides about 600 mg of magnesium a day. After food processing, however, the usual American diet drops to about 275 mg. That's more than 50 percent loss. The Australian diet is a little better, with 350 mg. Where is the magnesium going? About 18% of calories from processed food comes from added sugar and another 18% from white flour. Both of these have little nutritional value other than calories, with most of the magnesium and other vitamins and minerals being lost through processing.

Regular Magnesium Gives You the Runs? Try This!

Magnesium

Magnesium deficiency might be the most detrimental nutritional deficiency in our diet today. And unfortunately, some people can't take magnesium as a supplement without getting diarrhea.

The solution? A special sustained-release magnesium called Jigsaw Health Magnesium with SRT®. This unique form of magnesium is highly absorbable and especially well tolerated. It also supplies malic acid and folate, both of which dramatically increase energy.

With the Energy Revitalization System vitamin powder no longer available, it can be a challenge to get all the nutrients it once easily provided. I've been recommending Clinical Essentials™ as the best alternative. Adding the Jigsaw magnesium will get you even closer to what the vitamin powder provided. Try a bottle to find out how much impact it can have on you.
