My serotonin blood test showed that I was low. What can I do to address that issue with respect to the CFS?

Answer

5 HTP 200-400 mg a day. If taking any serotonin raising medications (e.g., antidepressants, trazodone, or Ultram), need to check with your holistic practitioner to make sure it's okay, as the combination of different things that raise serotonin can cause it to go too high. I would note that this is so rare with five HTP that most people do not even mention it. It takes six weeks to see the full effect.
