Probiotics Decrease Anxiety in CFS

In this double-blind study, probiotics decreased anxiety in CFS patients. This is one more example of the interplay of how we feel and our gut — which makes more serotonin and other “brain chemicals” than the brain does!

I recommend that probiotics be taken in “pearl” form, as otherwise 99.9% of the healthy bacteria get killed by our stomach acid.

For natural anxiety relief, also take an herbal supplement that promotes relaxation.
