A recent study explores the sexual habits of what used to be called the elderly.

To learn about the sexual habits of post-reproductive Homo sapiens in an industrialized society 130 University of Chicago interviewers toting laptops and blood-pressure cuffs fanned out across the US and knocked on the doors of older Americans. What they discovered is that many seniors remain sexually active—participating in vaginal intercourse, oral sex, and masturbation—well into their 70s and 80s. Reported in a recent issue of the New England Journal of Medicine, the study was the first comprehensive survey to assess the prevalence of sexual activity in people aged 57 to 85, the fastest-growing segment of the population.

So enjoy yourself—but don't let your children find out!
