The Ames Window Illusion

This video discusses the famous and bizarre "Ames window illusion." It's an optical illusion that demonstrates how your brain's perception of what it's looking at can sometimes be absolutely incorrect as to the reality of what is actually happening. Even when explained and proven, as this video does, your brain will still not accept what it's seeing. Some of the footage later gets into "Ames rooms," another fascinating example of how your brain can misintrpret what it's seeing.
