At Midlife, Women Need More Vitamin D

A European study of more than 3,000 women aged 45 to 68 found that many were deficient in vitamin D, with the average intake only 39% of the RDA.

Bottom line: Optimize vitamin D levels with a high-potency vitamin powder that contains at least 2,000 IU of vitamin D. And spend at least 10 to 15 minutes outdoors every day. Sunshine sparks the body's production of vitamin D.

Remember: Avoid sunburn, not sunshine!
