B12 Shots for Nerve Pain

As we have noted for decades, it is important to address nerve pain with the following recipe:

  1. Vitamins B12 and B6 (present in a good multivitamin powder)
  2. Lipoic Acid 300 mg 2x day
  3. Acetyl L-Carnitine 500 mg 2-3x day

Give these at least 3 months to work.

In this study, B12 shots decreased nerve pain 4 times as effectively as the medication nortriptyline.

We add medications for initial relief as well (and even long term as needed) as discussed in my book Pain Free 1-2-3, but the nutrients above can actually help heal the nerves.
