Alternatives to Multi-vitamin Powder

Published: January 29, 2013

I have tried taking the Multi-vitamin powder, as little as 1/4 scoop. I get severe intestinal cramps, diarrhea, flare-up of fibro pain, & a general malaise that lasts 2 days. I don't know what ingredient in the powder would be the likely culprit, and I'm not sure how to proceed. Is there another vitamin powder you can recommend? I'm taking Corvalen, 5,000 mcg b12, & fish oil w/no problem. Multiple vitamins have always given me problems, usually w/gas & diarrhea.

Answer

I would recommend you take a multivitamin along with magnesium. Take one 1 a day plus 2 of a sustained release magnesium instead. No where near what the powder has, but has the key basics.
