Babies Dig Grooving to the Beat
A study of babies listening to music showed that watching a live performance was more engaging than a tape, and when an audience was present, the heartbeats of babies in the audience tended to synchronize. I sense a similar synchronization when I lecture, where individuals in my audience become a unified group, with a group energy flowing back and forth between us all.
