Arginine is in the multivitamin powder that you recommend, but I am to avoid this due to many viral issues. What are your thoughts?

Answer

This is why we keep the arginine level in the powder very low (145 mg as opposed to over 1,000 mg of other key amino acids). The balance is that arginine is needed for growth hormone and nitric oxide balance, but is a growth factor for certain viruses. The lysine helps balance this out as well, so it is not a problem given the very low amount.
