Dr. T, I was wondering if you have had CFS patients with declining vision or vision problems? I am wondering if my declining vision is linked with CFS? I have high EBV and HHV6 Titers and occasional eye sensations in and around the eye. I have a need to wear reading glasses all the time and the strength in my glasses increases each year. Is there any testing for the eyes and do you recommend a diet or supplements to help my vision? Thank You.

Answer

Not so much declining vision as changes in visual acuity associated with charting system, thyroid and adrenal function. I will often recommend people not get eyeglasses until the thyroid and adrenal treatments are stabilized.
