Hi Dr Teitelbaum, I see a few sites say D-Ribose is good for or will help sperm count, is this true? ..if so how will D-Ribose effect testosterone? Looking forward to your reply.
I have not seen specific research on it, but studies on most things that improve energy production show they also improve sperm count and motility, so I suspect the ribose will do so as well. I do not know that it would have a direct effect quickly on testosterone levels, but in those where it is low, it may improve hypothalamic function helping it to recover. L&B, Dr. T
