Dr. Teitelbaum, good day. Thank you very much for the great article "Getting Eight to Nine Hours of Sleep a Night - The Foundation of Pain Relief ". It is extremely insightful and helpful. In your article, you mention that you usually like to start off with Zolpidem (Ambien) for certain patients since this medication does not ruin stages 3 and 4 of sleep. I am a fibromyalgia patient from Canada, and unfortunately, this medication is not available here. I was curious if "Zopiclone" (Imovane) could be used instead (I did not find it on your list of medications in the article). Thank you very much for your time.

Answer
