Good Sleep + Less Burnout = Lower Risk of COVID

Yet another study documents what we have been saying all along. More sleep at night, fewer sleep problems, and low levels of professional burnout were associated with a lower risk of developing COVID-19. In a study of 2,844 frontline healthcare workers, risk for COVID-19 dropped 12% for each additional hour of sleep they got at night.
Furthermore, those who reported having work-related burnout were 2.6 times more likely to have COVID-19, to have it for a longer amount of time, and to experience more severe symptoms.
Our experience has shown that postviral chronic fatigue syndrome, which is currently being called Long Haulers Syndrome, is more common in people who don't rest enough.
